Harmonize Platform Update: Bug Fixes and New Features for Enhanced Analytics Experience

We're pleased to share the latest updates to the Harmonize platform. This release includes a bug fix and several new features designed to enhance your analytics experience.

🔧 Bug Fixes

Fees Dashboard – Effective Rate & Effective Cost per Unit

Resolved an issue where Acquirer Fees Effective Rate, Network Fees Effective Rate, Acquirer Fees Effective Cost per Unit, and Network Fees Effective Cost per Unit were incorrectly displaying as 0 when grouping by Fee Category and expanding rows. Calculation logic has been updated to correctly derive effective rates across all grouping scenarios. Metrics will now only default to 0 when values are genuinely non-calculable.

Authorizations Dashboard – Issuer Region Map

Resolved an issue where the Issuer Region map was not populating continent values or corresponding color distributions. The map has been updated to correctly display Approval Rate broken down by each continent under Issuer Region, with accurate color scaling to reflect regional approval performance.

✨ New Features

Dynamic Percent of Total (Pivot Tables)

Percent of Total calculations in pivot tables now dynamically calculate relative to the correct row or column parent, providing more accurate and meaningful breakdowns. This enhancement applies to:

  • Auth Dashboard – % of Total Decline

  • Decline Dashboard – % of Total Decline

  • Disputes Dashboard – % of Total Disputes

Group Category Selector (Pivot Tables)

A new "Groups" selector has been added to dashboards featuring pivot tables, giving you greater control over how data is organized and displayed. Selected groups auto-expand for immediate visibility.

  • Non-Fees Dashboards: 0–3 groups (default: None)

  • Fees Dashboard: 0–6 groups (default: None)

Please Note: Due to changes introduced by the Group Category Selector, some previously saved views may be impacted. We recommend reviewing your saved views after this update to ensure they reflect your intended configuration

Sales Dashboard Enhancements

Effective Rate – Effective Rate is now available in both the line chart and pivot table sections of the Sales Dashboard, enabling at-a-glance rate trend analysis.

View Underlying Transactions – A persistent "View Underlying Transactions" button has been added to the Sales Data section. Clicking the button or selecting any pivot table cell opens a full-screen modal displaying all Sales Data Download fields. The modal reflects your active row groupings and filters, and supports CSV download for offline use.

Data Downloads Enhancements

This release brings expanded capabilities across Auth, Sales, and Disputes Data Downloads:

Disputes Lifecycle Support – Users can now analyze chargeback data by lifecycle stage and category for deeper dispute management insights.

Additional Dataset Fields – Expanded backend coverage now includes all Metadata fields, Affiliate & Sub-Affiliate fields, Subscription-related fields (ID, Plan, Tenure, Address), and BIN 8.

New Filters – Additional filters are now available to refine your data downloads:

  • Authorization: Presenter, Auth Type, Txn Category, MOTO Indicator, Card Funding Source, Wallet Type, Issuer Region

  • Sales: Funding Method, MOTO Indicator, Card Funding Source, Wallet Type, Issuer Region

  • Disputes – Lifecycle: MID Name (Division), MID Rollup 2 (Harmonize Group)

Disputes Dashboard Enhancements

Win Rate (Amount) – A new Win Rate (Amount) metric is now available in both the line chart and Data section of the Disputes Dashboard. This metric is calculated as Recovered Sales divided by Disputed Sales, providing additional visibility into recovery performance based on dollar amount alongside the existing count-based win rate.

Authorizations & Declines Dashboard Enhancements

Merchant Category Code - Added a new Auth : MCC field to both the Authorizations and Declines dashboards. This new field reflects the Merchant Category Code sourced directly from the acquirer authorization data, providing additional flexibility and improved accuracy for MCC-based analysis.
