Connect ChatGPT

Connect Harmonize MCP to ChatGPT.

Before you start: every user must first join their Harmonize organization. See MCP Setup Guide.

Add Harmonize MCP to ChatGPT

Workspace admin, once per workspace

  1. Go to Customize › Plugins › Add › Create MCP App.

  2. Enter the app details:

    • Name: Harmonize MCP

    • Connection: https://mcp.optimizedpayments.com/mcp

    • Authentication: OAuth

  3. Open Advanced OAuth settings. ChatGPT selects Dynamic Client Registration by default; change it and enter:

    • Registration method: User-Defined OAuth Client

    • OAuth client ID: Please refer to the Connection Guide in your onboarding email.

    • OAuth client secret: leave blank

    • Token endpoint auth method: none

    • Default scopes: keep as selected

  4. Check I understand and want to continue, then select Create.

Important: choose User-Defined OAuth Client. Don't keep Dynamic Client Registration, and leave the client secret blank.

Connect your account

Every user

  1. Go to Customize › Plugins and find Harmonize MCP.

  2. Select + next to Harmonize MCP. ChatGPT opens the Harmonize sign-in page.

  3. Enter your organization, then your Harmonize email address and password. Your email appears under Connected accounts.

  4. In a conversation, type @Harmonize MCP, or choose Plugins › Harmonize MCP below the message box.
