Sort a pivot table by a specific metric

1. Open the Sort Menu

   • Click the downward triangle (▼) icon next to Group 1 in the column header.

   • Select Sort from the dropdown menu.

2. Select a Metric

   • Click the metric you'd like to sort by.

   • The table will sort in ascending order by default.

3. Switch to Descending Order (optional)

   • Repeat the same steps and click the same metric again.

   • This toggles the sort direction from ascending to descending.

Tips

Sorting across multiple months — If your selected date range includes multiple months, the sort is based on the total volume across the entire date period, not just a single month.

Not sure which metric to sort by? The available sort options reflect the measure currently selected in the Measure Selector. If you don't see the metric you want, try updating your measure selection first.
