Network Tokenization & DCAP Dashboard

The Network Tokenization & DCAP Dashboard provides visibility into network token and DCAP performance and savings across your payment portfolio. It shows actual sales volume processed through tokenization and DCAP, the corresponding penetration rates, and potential vs. realized savings — enabling analysis of program effectiveness and identification of remaining optimization opportunities.

Equivalent of the Interchange Token Analysis dashboard.

This dashboard displays transactions that are eligible for network tokenization.

Token & DCAP Sales & Penetration (Combo Chart)

A dual-axis combo chart showing actual sales volume processed via network tokens and DCAP as bars/area, with the corresponding penetration rates as line overlays.

  • Left Y-Axis: Sales volume ($) — covers Actual Token Sales and Actual DCAP Sales

  • Right Y-Axis: Penetration rate (%) — covers Token Penetration (Amount) and DCAP Penetration (Amount)

  • X-Axis: Date (configurable via Date Granularity: Y / Q / M / W / D — defaults to Monthly)

  • Legend: Actual Token Sales, Token Penetration (Amount), Actual DCAP Sales, DCAP Penetration (Amount)

Use this chart to track how much of your eligible sales volume is being captured through tokenization and DCAP over time, and how those penetration rates trend.

Token & DCAP Savings — Potential vs. Realized (Stacked Bar Chart)

A stacked bar chart showing potential and actual savings side by side over time, isolated to either Token or DCAP at a time.

  • Y-Axis: Depends on the selected Measure:

    • Amount — savings dollar amount

    • % of Total Amount — each bar totals 100%, showing share of potential vs. realized savings

  • X-Axis: Date (configurable via Date Granularity: Y / Q / M / W / D — defaults to Monthly)

  • Legend: Dynamically shows "Potential Token Savings / Actual Token Savings" or "Potential DCAP Savings / Actual DCAP Savings" based on the Type selection

Use this chart to quantify the remaining tokenization or DCAP opportunity. A large Potential vs. Actual gap indicates volume that could be shifted to tokenized or DCAP routing for cost reduction.

Pivot Table

The pivot table provides a configurable multi-measure breakdown of Token and DCAP performance across any grouping dimension and time period.

Measure

Description

Eligible Token/DCAP Sales

The sales volume that is capable of being processed using a network token or through the DCAP program.

Eligible Token/DCAP Transactions

The number of transactions capable of being processed using a network token or through the DCAP program.

Actual Token Sales

The sales volume processed using a network token.

Actual Token Transactions

The number of transactions processed using a network token.

Token Penetration (Amount)

The percentage of token-eligible sales volume that was successfully processed using a network token.

Token Penetration (Count)

The percentage of token-eligible transactions that were successfully processed using a network token.

Actual Token Savings

The realized cost savings from transactions successfully processed using a network token.

% of Actual Token Savings

Actual Token Savings expressed as a percentage rather than a dollar figure.

Potential Token Savings

The estimated savings available from token eligible transactions that have not yet been processed using a network token.

% of Potential Token Savings

Potential Token Savings expressed as a percentage rather than a dollar figure.

Actual DCAP Sales

The sales volume processed through the DCAP program.

Actual DCAP Transactions

The number of transactions processed through the DCAP program.

DCAP Penetration (Amount)

The percentage of token-eligible sales volume that was successfully processed through the DCAP program.

DCAP Penetration (Count)

The percentage of token-eligible transactions that were successfully processed through the DCAP program.

Actual DCAP Savings

The realized cost savings from transactions successfully processed through the DCAP program.

% of Actual DCAP Savings

Actual DCAP Savings expressed as a percentage rather than a dollar figure.

Potential DCAP Savings

The estimated savings available from token-eligible transactions that have not yet qualified for the DCAP program.

% of Potential DCAP Savings

Potential DCAP Savings expressed as a percentage rather than a dollar figure.

Reach for the four percentage measures whenever you are comparing savings performance across groups of different size — acquirers, MIDs, or card types — because the dollar measures only tell you which group is biggest, while the percentage forms show which group is actually performing well or badly.

Filtering Tips

Use the Filters button at the top right to refine your view:

  • Date Period: Defaults to the last 13 months including the current month

  • Date Granularity: Switch between Yearly, Quarterly, Monthly, Weekly, and Daily on all time series charts

Use Case Example:

"We want to understand how much tokenization and DCAP savings we're leaving on the table."

  • Check the Combo Chart with Type set to All — compare the Token and DCAP penetration lines to spot which program is underperforming on capture rate

  • Switch to the Savings Chart and toggle between Token and DCAP to see the Potential vs. Actual gap for each program

  • In the pivot table, switch the group controller to IC : Token Name to see which token types are underperforming on penetration

  • Add Token Penetration (Count) alongside Token Penetration (Amount) to check whether low penetration is driven by a small number of high-value transactions or broad transaction-level gaps

  • Filter to a specific acquirer or MID to prioritize outreach for accounts with the largest savings gap
