Debit BIN Eligibility Dashboard shows how debit volume breaks down by each BIN's routing eligibility across debit networks and by Durbin-regulated status, broken out by BIN, card brand, and month.
This dashboard displays debit transactions for USA-based accounts, excluding refunds.
Chart Section
-
Y-Axis: Count (Transactions) — switchable via Measure to other available measures (Sales, % of Total Transactions, % of Total Sales)
-
X-Axis: Month
-
Segments: Debit eligibility category for the selected Group
Measure defaults to transactions, Group defaults to Debit Eligibility : Accel and can be switched to view eligibility under a different debit network, Top N defaults to 10, and Date Granularity defaults to Monthly. A large share of volume typically falls into the null segment, reflecting transactions that fall outside the selected network's eligibility classification.
Data Section
Below the chart, the Data section is a fully configurable table for benchmarking debit BIN eligibility across networks, card brands, and regulated status:
-
Measure: multi-select — Sales, Transactions, % of Total Sales, % of Total Transactions, Effective Rate, Interchange Fees, or All
-
Groups: choose how many grouping levels to drill through
-
Group 1 / Group 2 / Group 3: each level set independently — for example BIN : Credit Debit, then Card : MOP Name, then BIN : Debit Regulated Indicator — to drill from the debit/credit split down to an individual MOP Name's regulated status
-
Date Granularity: defaults to Month
Use this section to check whether a specific card brand's debit volume is landing in Regulated, Regulated with Fraud Adjustment, or Unregulated status, and to benchmark that mix against other MOP Names.
Filtering Tips
-
Date Period: defaults to the last 13 months including the current month — use the Date Period selector at the top of the page to narrow the range
-
Filters panel: opening Filters includes a Debit Eligibility tab alongside MID, Card, IC, Txn, BIN, Currency, and Metadata, with a dedicated eligibility filter for each debit network (Accel, AFFN, ATH, CU24, EBT, Interac, Interlink, Jeanie, Maestro, NYCE, PULSE, Shazam, and STAR) — use it to check or filter to the BINs eligible on a specific network
Use Case Example
"We want to see how much of a specific card brand's debit volume is Durbin-regulated versus unregulated."
Use the chart's Group control to select the debit network relevant to that card brand
Open the Data section and set Group 1 to Card : MOP Name and Group 2 to BIN : Debit Regulated Indicator to see the regulated / unregulated split for that specific brand
Compare the split against a prior month to see if the mix is shifting in a way that would affect Interchange Fees
